Tough times, challenges and emotional pain are a part of all our lives. So is achievement, joy and happiness. Mental Health encompasses our ability to understand our struggles (and the causes) and to develop tools to navigate our thoughts and emotions effectively. In doing so we can become more resilient, self-compassionate and live rich, full and meaningful lives.

As a Registered Psychologist I provide evidence-based psychological treatment to help people traverse and overcome the difficulties associated with life’s challenges and to build skills and strategies for wellbeing. I draw on tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Wellbeing Science (aka Positive Psychology).

I see clients with a wide range of challenges, the most common being: Anxiety, Depression, Stress Management, Life Transitions, OCD, Relationship Problems, Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Pain, Internet Addiction, Sports Performance.

Telehealth sessions available via zoom to clients anywhere in Australia.

Face-to-face sessions available in Prahran, Melbourne.

Medicare rebates available with a referral from a GP under a “Mental Health Care Plan”.

We all have a ‘best possible self’ but how many of us are able to be that person as often as we’d like? Very few in my experience. One of the biggest hurdles to us behaving in line with our values, reaching our goals, and realising the depth and breadth of our capabilities is our inner landscape - that is, our thoughts and emotions. Learning how to navigate these effectively is a game changer.

Mindfulness provides the foundation for a toolkit of skills and strategies that form the scaffolding of high performance. I’ll work with you 1:1 to help you build that toolkit, which includes the resources to be more present, productive, effective, resilient, purposeful and well.
